Way, way down in the German 6. Liga on Sunday morning, TSV Marl-Hüls registered a 2-2 draw away against FC Iserlohn that kept them sitting pretty at the summit of the Westfalenliga table.
The game was also graced by the kind of goal that every Sunday League player dreams of, with TSV’s Maurice Kühn rattling in an absolute belter from inside his own half that flew over the Iserlohn ‘keeper and pinged satisfyingly in off the crossbar…
Judging from the belly-laughs in the crowd, we’re guessing our Maurice doesn’t do that kind of thing very often.
