This is surely the perfect example of how not to react to a bad tackle.
During the Conference clash between Worcester City and Stockport County on Saturday, Worcester’s Shabir Khan was the victim of a pretty horrid challenge from Charlie Russell. The tackle left Khan in a heap on the ground, however he was soon back on his feet, as he trapped Russell in a bear-hug before throwing him to the ground in properly loony fashion.
Not surprisingly, the Worcester defender was sent off for the wrestling move although Russell escaped with a rather generous yellow. Oh, and City won the game 2-0.
