Wales jumped to the top of Group B after securing a fantastic victory against Belgium in Cardiff.

The visitors started brightly, with Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan firing at Wayne Hennessey in the Welsh goal, before Chelsea’s Eden Hazard then went close with a volley.

However, on 25 minutes, the hosts took the lead with Gareth Bale chesting the ball down and superbly slotting home after Nainggolan made a right mess of a header.

Hal Robson-Kanu the fired wide after an Aaron Ramsey free-kick as the atmosphere in the Cardiff City Stadium intensified.

After the break, Manchester City target Kevin De Bruyne, amongst others, went close for the Belgians.

However, the Welsh defence stood firm and managed to see out the game to secure a magnificent victory.

Chris Coleman’s charges leapfrop Belgium into top spot in the group, three points clear of Wilmots’ men.
