Pep Guardiola’s all-conquering Bayern Munich were given a very early wake-up call against Hoffenheim on Saturday, with the Bundesliga behemoths conceding after just nine seconds of play.

German international Kevin Volland was the scorer of the goal, the joint-fastest in Bundesliga history (along with Karim Bellarabi v Bayer Leverkuson last season), after David Alaba’s horrific square-pass just after the kick-off…

Bayern did ultimately win the game 2-1 however, courtesy of goals from Thomas Muller and, in the last minute, Robert Lewandowski…

I could not be more excited for the Bundesliga this season – literally anyone can win it!!…… (Although if I was a betting man I think it’d probably be that team who generates 5x more money than any other club, to pays wages 2-3x other clubs, and can spend more money on transfers than any other club – plus who also have a squad filled with more world class talent than any other club, and have won it for the last 4 or so times in a row).
