Japan spanked Cambodia 3-0 to secure the first win of their 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign thanks to goals from Keisuke Honda, Maya Yoshida and Shinji Kagawa.

Kagawa, however, should really have helped himself to a brace on the night after seeing a fantastic chance to score go begging in the latter stages of the first half.

With ball squared across the edge of the six-yard box, Kagawa was left to simply tap the ball into the gaping Cambodian net from two yards out.

GIF version, just in case…

Same old Shinji, always looking to squeeze one more killer pass in.
