Japan spanked Cambodia 3-0 to secure the first win of their 2018 World Cup qualifying campaign thanks to goals from Keisuke Honda, Maya Yoshida and Shinji Kagawa.

Kagawa, however, should really have helped himself to a brace on the night after seeing a fantastic chance to score go begging in the latter stages of the first half.

With ball squared across the edge of the six-yard box, Kagawa was left to simply tap the ball into the gaping Cambodian net from two yards out.
