Reading may have ultimately lost on their visi to Hull City in the Championship on Wednesday night. However, the Royals’ opening goal, finished off by Nick Blackman, was a thing of back-heeled beauty.
The goal came just before the half-hour mark at the KC Stadium, with the Royals initially working the ball up the right flank. Then, a couple of nifty back-heels, from Matej Vydra and then Oliver Norwood, set up Blackman who lasered the ball into the back of the net courtesy of a superbly controlled left-foot shot…

Alas, second-half goals from Abel Hernandez and Jake Livermore would secure a win for the Tigers, who are now fourth in the table. As for managerless Reading, they stay 13th. Still, what a goal!
