It proved to be a funny old weekend for Monaco striker Lacina Traore, who experienced something of a ‘mixed bag’ type of outing in the French Cup on Sunday afternoon.
Traore helped himself to four goals in the first 45 minutes of Monaco’s 10-2 win over amateur side St Jean Beaulieu in the Coupe de France round of 64 before getting himself sent off before the start of the second half.
The gangly target man, briefly of Everton, was sent off in the tunnel at the interval following an altercation with St Jean’s Yann Mariotti, who was also dismissed for his crimes.
Unsurprisingly, Monaco chose to focus on Traore’s goal blitz when posting the match highlights on Twitter after the game…
