Thursday night saw two of the game’s giants, Italy and Spain, go head to head in Udine as the busy schedule of international friendlies kicked in. The game ended 1-1, courtesy of goals from Azzurri winger Lorenzo Insigne and Spain striker Aritz Aduriz.

However, the clash also saw veteran World Cup winning boss Vicente Del Bosque knocked to the ground after a hefty (accidental) knock from a linesman.

The 65-year-old Del Bosque was focused on the game and strayed into the path of the onrushing lino, who duly floored the Spaniard…

Thankfully, the former Real Madrid player and coach seemed unhurt by the bodycheck and after dusting himself off, shook hands with the official. All’s well that ends well!
