At the ripe old age of 38, legendary striker Luca Toni decided to hang up his boots after a fabulous career which has saw him lift the 2006 World Cup, pick up a couple of Bundesliga titles with Bayern Munich and net a rather impressive 324 career goals.
In his final game for Verona against Serie A champions Juventus on Sunday, the targetman signed off with a sumptuous Panenka spot-kick in front of the home fans.
Despite being already relegated, Verona managed a fine 2-1 win against Juve, with Toni’s penalty a perfect way to end his career…
