Ahead of Euro 2016, purveyors of mediocre booze Carling are pushing a new money-making scheme, by selling televisions at a price per inch. If the ‘Pay Per Inch’ concept is rather odd, then the TV advert they’ve put together to market the initiative is even more strange, with Paul Ince and Jimmy Bullard re-enacting a cringeworthy scene from the Godfather.

Ex-England star Ince and ex-Wigan and Hull schemer Bullard struggle to squeeze a drop of comedy out of the scene, with the self-proclaimed ‘Guv’nor’s Don Corleone impression awkward in the extreme…

We’re not quite sure at the thinking behind the whole thing. However, rather than get anyone excited about either the upcoming festival of football or the flat-screen TVs, the bizarre cringe-fest leaves us just feeling flat.
