Two days after his 36th birthday, Peter Crouch finally brought up his Premier League century with the opening goal in Stoke’s midweek game with Everton.

With the game just seven minutes old, Crouch opened the scoring by sliding in to steer Marco Arnautovic’s low cross past Joel Robles.

The wily old son of a gun then dusted off an old classic to celebrate, much to the delight of almost everybody inside the Bet 365 Stadium…

Wow, what an ovation!

Speaking last month, Crouch hinted he may roll out ‘The Robot’ once he finally secured his place in the Ton-Up Club:

I’ve had so many people asking me whether it will come back out when I get my 100th goal.

They’re saying if you get the 100th goal, you’ve got to do it.

The pressure is taking its toll, so maybe it will come out, we will see.

And see it, we jolly well did.

What a rare old treat.

How lovely! We’re quite good now, but I feel joy when I think about his time at Spurs and the partnership With Rafa:)
