Huddersfield came out on top in a fractious Yorkshire derby on Sunday afternoon, pipping cross-county rivals Leeds by two goals to one.

Both sides had their managers sent-off after David Wagner and Garry Monk clashed in the wake of Michael Hefele’s late, late winning goal.

Indeed, no sooner had the German defender swept home than Wagner set off sprinting across the pitch to celebrate with his players…

Monk didn’t take too kindly to Wagner’s celebrations and duly made his opinions known as and when his counterpart returned to the dug-outs.

The ensuing clash saw three players booked and both managers sent to the stands for the final few minutes of the match.

It may well be against the rules, but we actually quite enjoyed seeing Wagner – usually a very reserved presence on the touchline – go a bit bonkers!

For the record, the result saw Huddersfield leapfrog over Leeds and into fourth place in the Championship table.
