Juventus incredible winning streak on home soil increased to 28 games on Sunday night, with the Serie A leaders edging Inter Milan 1-0 in a heavyweight clash.

The only goal of the game came courtesy of Juan Cuadrado, with his first of the season, after the former Chelsea flop produced a magnificent thumping effort.

Both sides had chances to score in an entertaining clash, with Paulo Dybala and Miralem Pjanic both hitting the woodwork for Juve and Roberto Gagliardini, Joao Maria and Mauro Icardi failing to capitalise on decent chances.

However, the one goal of the game was a humdinger, with Colombian wideman Cuadrado connecting perfectly with the ball after Inter had failed to adequately clear a corner, leaving ‘keeper Samir Handanovic with no chance.

What a superb strike from Cuadrado, who never quite impressed Jose Mourinho enough while at Stamford Bridge.

The win sees the Old Lady go six points clear at the top of the Serie A table as well as extending their incredible winning streak at home in the league to 28 games.

As for Inter, who had winger Ivan Perisic sent off at the end, they finish the weekend slipping down to fifth.
