Celtic well and truly eviscerated Rangers in the Old Firm derby earlier today, racking up their biggest ever win at Ibrox in the process.
Goals from Scott Sinclair, Lee Griffiths, Callum McGregor, Dedryck Boyata and Mikael Lustig saw the Bhoys storm to an emphatic 5-1 victory, with Kenny Miller scoring a forlorn consolation goal in reply.
The bout also played host to a monumentally thunderous sliding tackle from Celtic centre-half Jozo Simunovic, who poleaxed Miller with a booming (but perfectly legal) challenge in the early stages…
Oh yes, a thing of rare beauty…
Strong, full-blooded, one-footed and clean as a whistle – the kind of tackle you don’t tend to see much anymore.
While the temptation must’ve been to pull Simunovic up for using ‘excess force’, we can only give kudos to the referee to playing on.
