Valencia coach Marcelino is set for a spell on the sidelines (although that’s where he spends the majority of his time anyway, thinking about it…) after doing himself a mischief while celebrating Simeone Zaza’s late winner against Real Sociedad on Sunday evening.

With the scores locked at 2-2, Zaza popped up in the 85th minute to thrash one past Sociedad ‘keeper Geronimo Rulli and nab all three points for the away side.

Alas, it was all too much for Marcelino – his left hamstring, specifically…

Yeesh, we’ve all been there. We all recognise the agony etched on that man’s face, the forlorn massage of the throbbing thigh.

Certainly looks like a sore one.

The second video does not come from the press conference after the game. In fact, it was from his period as (I think) Racing Santander manager. Sponsors at the back were the ones from that era.
