Real Madrid signed off for the international break with a comfortable 3-0 win over Las Palmas in which Marco Asensio added yet another scorcher to his portfolio of seemingly effortless golazos.

After Casemiro had put Los Blancos ahead just before the break, Asensio drubbed home a second shortly after the restart, driving Raul Lizoain’s loose punch back past him with an exquisite half-volley into the top corner with minimal back-lift…

Flat and rising: Definitely one for trajectory purists there.

Isco went on to ice the cake in the 74th minute by slotting home a Cristiano Ronaldo cross on the counter-attack – a goal which saw the latter surpass Raul’s tally (83) to become Real’s all-time top assist maker with 84 to his name.
