PSG maintained their nine-point lead at the summit of Ligue 1 with a 4-1 away win over Rennes on Saturday evening.
Neymar both opened and closed the scoring, sandwiching a goal apiece from Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe inbetwixt.
Cavani’s goal celebration proved particularly noteworthy as the PSG players were joined on the pitch by a trio of crime-fighting mutant turtles – Leonardo, Raphael and Michelangelo if we’re not mistaken…
Dani Alves pretending to pull a sword from the sheath on his back was a nice touch.
As you may or may not be aware, Mbappe is the subject of a long-standing in-joke with his PSG teammates, who constantly refer to him as ‘Donatello’ because, at least in their minds, he bears an uncanny resemblance to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle of the same name.

That’s clearly Michelangelo’s mask, but hey ho.
Anyway, the amniotic pitch invaders were swiftly corralled by security staff and spent the night* (*an hour-ish) locked up in jail* (*a side room) at Rennes’ย Roazhonย Park stadium…
Hello @KMbappe @neymarjr @DaniAlvesD2 ! Can you pay ransom ๐ต๐ต๐ต to release the Ninja turtles ?!? Thanks ๐๐ข๐ #SRFCPSG pic.twitter.com/lEi8rMCYuS
