Diego Costa was booking for diving and then scored within an incredible yet totally predictable minute for the Spaniard during Atletico Madrid’s La Liga game away to Sevilla on Sunday.
The incident occurred on 28 minutes, with former Chelsea man Costa tussling with defender Clément Lenglet, before throwing himself to the floor, clutching his face.
The striker picked up a yellow for the episode, unsurprisingly much to his annoyance.
However, soon after, Costa made amends for his nonsense by netting the opening goal of the game, after capitalising on some horrendous Sevilla play at the back.
That pretty much sums up Diego Costa, a man who will (rather reassuringly) never change.
Atletico would gone on to win the game 5-2, courtesy of a hat-trick from Antoine Griezmann and a goal from Koke, with Pablo Sarabia and ex-Man City winger netting for the hosts.
