England Women drew 2-2 with Germany in their heavyweight She Believes Cup clash on Sunday night.
Phil Neville’s side performed well but shot themselves in the foot for both of Germany’s goals, with the second coming via a bizarre Mille Bright own-goal.
A mix-up between Abbie McManus and goalkeeper Siobhan Chamberlain handed the Germans a chance to score.
However, the initial shot from Sara Däbritz was blocked before another effort came back off Chamberlain and then ricocheted into the back of the net off the unfortunate Bright.
A proper catalogue of errors, although there was little Chelsea defender Bright could do.

That goal put the Germans 2-1 up.
The first England goal wasn’t much better, with more questionable defending.
However, late on England would secure a share of the spoils with Ellen White beating the offside trap to fire home her second of the game.
Here’s the highlights…
England go top of the group, ahead of the USA on goal difference.
