Ashley Barnes scored an absolute cracker of a volley at the Hawthorns on Saturday, as Burnley beat bottom-side West Brom 2-1.

The goal came on 22 minutes, with Barnes latching on to an Aaron Lennon cross and firing home via a magnificent acrobatic volley…

Quite  cracker from the Bath-born player who, despite playing for the Austrian U20 side, is still eligible to line out for England.

Chris Wood would give the Clarets a deserved 2-0 lead in the second-half before Salomon Rondon netted a consolation goal for the Baggies.

While Sean Dyche and his Burnley side stay seventh, just two points behind Arsenal, Alan Pardew’s West Brom look destined for the drop, 10 points from safety with just six games to play.
