In an incredible week of dramatic results, Red Bull Salzburg got in on the act courtesy of an astonishing second-leg comeback against Lazio, with the Austrians overturning a 4-2 first leg defeat to make it into the semi-finals.

After a goalless first-half at the Red Bull Arena, a goal from Lazio’s in-form striker Ciro Immobile looked to have sealed the deal for the Serie A side, putting them 5-2 up on aggregate.

However, the hosts hit back almost immediately through Moanes Dabour to offer a glimmer of hope to the home fans.

Another 15 minutes would pass before the Austrians pulled off the unthinkable – netting the requisite three goals in just 247 seconds, via Amadou Haidara, Hwang Hee-chan and Stefan Lainer…

A shell-shocked Lazio couldn’t respond, leaving Salzburg to progress 6-5 on aggregate on yet another truly memorable night of European football.
