Napoli kept the Serie A title race very much alive on Sunday, with Kalidou Koulibaly’s last-gasp winner against Juventus closing the gap between the two sides to just one point at the top of the table.
Napoli had been the better side throughout the game in Turin, with Juve failing to direct a single shot on target.
Then, at the death, José Callejón’s corner was powered into the back of Gigi Buffon’s net by Senegal international Koulibaly.
Not surprisingly, the goal sent Napoli fans wild, from inside the stadium to a basement in central London…
90th minute. From a basement in central London. For a game thousands of miles away. The same will be happening all around the world right now. Football is the greatest sport on earth don’t @ me. Final second is me slipping over from the beer poured on the ground in celebration. pic.twitter.com/WkK1Z2WrWn

There were similar scenes back home in Naples, where legions of flare-toting fans amassed at their airport to welcome their conquering heroes in the wee small hours of the morning…
3:30am and this is the reception Napoli fans are giving their team as they wait for their plane to land…
