Referee Jochem Kamphuis found himself on the wrong end of a yellow card for diving during Vitesse Arnhem’s 5-0 hammering of FC Twente on Sunday.

The incident occurred when Kamphuis was accidentally felled by Navarone Foor, with the official losing his balance and going to ground.

Afterwards, the Vitesse winger cheekily brandished a yellow card in front of the ref for ‘simulation’…

What japes!

Although imagine someone doing that to the likes of Mike Dean in the Premier League?

As for the game itself, bottom side FC Twente will drop down to the second-tier for next season while Foor and co. find themselves in sixth place.

Remember Gazza getting a yellow for doing the same to a red in Scotland?

Good to see Dutch refs have can show a bit of good humour. Not like some places where they’d send a player off for such lighthearted fun.
