If you were wondering just how Diego Costa chose to ring in the New Year, it should come as no surprise to learn that it most definitely involved explosives.
Indeed, the Atletico Madrid striker chose to celebrate the arrival of 2019 by waking his brother, Jair Costa, up with a surprise coronary episode and an involuntary bowel movement.
Early in the morning on New Year’s Day, Costa loaded up a metal pan with firecrackers, placed it daintily on his brother’s hotel bed, lit the fuse and stood back to watch the masterful chaos unfold – presumably while rubbing his hands together with glee like the cartoon mega-villain that he is…
