Montreal Impact are all set to join the MLS in 2012 and, as such, the Canadian side have decided to spruce up and rejuvenate a few things around the place – including the stadium and the club’s crest, though we can’t help but feel that their ‘big reveal’ viral is a little on the ‘massively overblown’ side…

The crest in all it’s glory…

This way for more info on the symbolism involved, if you happen to be in to that kind of thing – each to their own.

Nothing wrong with that to be fair, just trying to grab attention and get noticed, thats the logical thing to do when you’re launching a new product/business.

  2. railhawksfan says:

They will always be two bit scums to the Railhawks nation. Joey Saputo is a pompous man. We did them good last year. Good riddance fukkers.

  3. wiggs says:

    R-Hops is a marketing genius.

classy crest, one of the better ones in the MLS and i thi- sorry, did i just read “railhawks fan?”? the railhawks have fans?

  5. RyanSSL says:

Looks good. Will be nice to have Montreal in MLS. I hope their rivalry with Toronto can take off somewhat like in Hockey. Now we just need the Cosmos in NYC not NJ and no more teams.

  6. Rick says:

I dont get why people think the cosmos will be a good idea. Red bulls cant fill their stadium, do people think cosmos will help that?

  7. engerland_supporter says:

I don’t understand why they went for black and blue stripes. They should’ve used blue and white. Those are their colors…. according to themselves. Nice crest and great video, btw.

  8. Jay says:

Great video….I hope Crystal Palace FCs has a good video like that when their new badge comes

a really cool crest. i for one aprove

  10. Montesquieu says:

This looks like it was designed for a non-licensed team in Pro Evo. Terrible, although all of the logos in the MLS stink equally.

  11. says:

I don’t think their logo needed an update, however I do like the idea that they sat down and actually put some thought into the symbolism a bit. Let’s hope the next 11 MLS teams put forth the same effort
