Jordan Dunn, the West Ham who was fined on Monday for scampering onto the pitch and taking a free-kick during the Hammers’ opening game of the season, has opened a crowdfunding account in the hope of raising enough money to pay off his court debts.

After having his set-piece technique complimented by the judge, 22-year-old Jordan was stung for £350 for his “drunken moment of madness” and, being an intrepid kind of guy, took to Go Fund Me to invite fellow West Ham fans to donate towards paying off his fine.

Jordan’s “Fineraiser” page is accessible here, with donation from sympathetic fans already reaching £230 despite only being active for a day.

The clever little sod.

Pies will have to remember this the next time we’re unfairly incarcerated for “indecent jaywalking”.

    Amazing! As I type this (8.30pm Canada Eastern), he’s up to £260!

    Fair play to the lad, his attempt WAS better than Eriksen’s!

    But we really can’t condone that kind of behaviour. Once every few years you get something like this happening and it’s a bit of a laugh, but if it happened every few weeks it would be crap and highly irritating.

    I’d pay that and more to have him run up to Arsene Wenger and give him a playful slap on the jowls.

    @LCampeaux: YOU’VE BEEN TANGOOOED!

    He’s raised then fine with an extra 10 to spare. Great job by the West Ham fans, though I doubt any of the players chipped in.
