West Ham’s James Collins Posts Instagram Injury Pic After MOTD Criticism

During West Ham United’s goalless draw with Swansea on Sunday, the Swans were livid after an apparent James Collins’ handball in the box went unpunished by ref Lee Mason. Welsh defender Collins held his head in pain after clashing with Swans’s midfielder Ki just after blocking the midfielder’s shot, leaving a number of pundits to criticise him for faking an injury in order to dodge a spot-kick decision.

On Sky Sports, ex-Man City striker Niall Quinn pointed the finger at Collins while the Hammers’ star, who was superb through the game against the Swans, was also on the receiving end of some criticism on Match Of The Day. However, in response to the critics, Collins posted this photo on Instagram, showing that he had indeed received quite a sizeable bang on the head. Ouch!…
