Dimitri Payet registered a very strong contender for Goal of the Season against Middlesbrough on Saturday, with the West Ham playmaker scoring an incredible solo effort.

Cristhian Stuani has given ‘Boro the lead at the London Stadium early in the second-half before Payet netted his first goal of the seasonm courtesy of an incredible dazzling, dribbling goal.

Picking up the ball out wide on the left, the French midfielder jinked past the entire ‘Boro defence before slotting home…

Truly magnificent!

That incredible effort, surely not to be topped this season, secured a draw for the struggling Hammers, who have accured a paltry four points from their opening seven games.

Slaven Bilic will no doubt be hoping that Payet’s wonder-goal can kickstart his side’s dismal campaign.

Love this site and visit WAATP pretty much every day but the pop up ads are starting to kill the experience for me tbh. Appreciate you have/want to earn revenue but some of them (I think the Kia one) take up the whole page and is frustrating as hell!
