Robert Snodgrass is the subject of an arrest warrant after the West Ham United midfielder failed to turn up for his trial relating to a driving infringement.

The 29-year-old Snodgrass was charged with driving a car while a baby was being held by another passenger, with the incident taking place in Glasgow in April.

The Scottish international is alleged to have driven his car without a baby seat, due to the number of passengers in the vehicle, resulting in the child being held by someone in the rear seat.

Snodgrass was supposed to be present when the case was called at Glasgow’s Justice of the Preace Court. However, his defence lawyer explained to the court that the star didn’t believe he had to be there.

The warrant, requested by the Crown, was then granted by JP Eunice Paton,

All rather embarrassing for the Hammers’ star!
