Truth be told, nobody really deserved to come out on top in Sunday’s fairly dreary 0-0 draw between West Ham and Chelsea at the London Stadium.
However, it was the home side who carved out the best opening of the game only for Andriy Yarmolenko to make a dog’s breakfast of an excellent cross into the box from Robert Snodgrass towards the end of the game, the Ukrainian winger sending an awkward header wide from close range.
Thankfully, with a draw deemed to be an adequate result, the miss wasn’t dwelt upon too harshly by the Hammers dressing room who instead chose to rib ‘Yarma’ about his the uncooperative geometry of his cranium at training the following day…

Mark Noble is seen in the video professing his innocence, but this quote from Yarmolenko taken before the Chelsea match might just prove to be telling…
"He looks like old man but he knows how to joke every day." Andriy Yarmolenko on Mark Noble is one of the most glowing character references I've ever heard.

With a jester like Nobes among your midst, every day must be a jamboree.
