Speaking via his Twitter account, West Ham striker Demba Ba has claimed that it wasn’t his refusal to sign an autograph for a fan that sparked a fracas at the club’s end-of-season gala bash last night…

Ba then tweeted:

“[The fan] came to me saying he is tired to watch us play and was looking for confrontation.”

Thinking about it, why would a man with a two-letter surname ever be ‘too tired’ to sign an autograph?

Anywho, West Ham co-owner David Sullivan has also waded into the debate, alledging that the scuffle occured after the jilted/non-jilted fan racially abused Ba for signing/not signing an autograph for him.

In short, no-one’s got a bleeding clue what’s going on.

he is a football mercenary, he doesn’t care for West Ham, he just wanted to join a club in the prem – just look at what he did in hoffenheim. he’ll leave west ham, I would bet any money on that

To be honest @ ande………there wont be a lot of “1st teamers” left to play for West Ham in the Championship………..so Demba wont be alone with that assumption…….
