As part of their ongoing commitment to keep football accessible to all, FIFA have proudly announced that the cheapest match ticket at the 2018 World Cup in Russia will cost a mere $105 (roughly £80).

FIFA have rolled out their pricing structure for the 2018 tournament today, with the following ticket prices applying to overseas fans.

For the record, the prices for Russian residents start at roughly $20 (about £15).

As you can see, the cheapest ticket for the final in Moscow is an entirely reasonable $455 (that’s £348).

Indeed, the cheapest overall match ticket price has been hiked up 15% from Brazil 2014.

Extortionate prices. Potential hooliganism at every turn. Why, it’s all shaping up to be an absolute classic.

Thanks again, FIFA.

How can anyone really plan on going to russia for the world cup? People should unanimously boycott that farce of a tournament. Jesus, imagine the pictures of the smug expression on putin’s face when the opening ceremony is on. Just like in sochi 2014. Brilliant. At least the propaganda machinery will not be able to cover up the embarrassment of crashing out in the group stages.

You’re joking aren’t you PetrovskyKSC? putin and his corrupt cronies will simply drag people off the streets, physically if necessary, so the stadia appear sold out for every game.

Yeah, the boy is an absolute daredevil. He’ll do whatever it takes to make the wc a success. However, it is going to be quite a tricky job to let the russian residents credibly impersonate gorgeous ladies from argentina in their tight sky blue and white shirts. It seems much easier for them to get pissed up, behave like crazy, dress in white and wave around english or german flags.

The Russian thugs on their home turf will be carrying knives and guns this time around. There’s going to be blood running in the streets.

Fnarf!!!!!!! Sweet Jesus we’ve missed you

80 quid in 2018!? Hmmm, so that will be what, ~$20?
