“Tell you what Manish, I really fancy a Chelsea home win.”
Throughout the 2010-11 Premier League season, which begins tomorrow lunchtime, with Tottenham versus Man City (I’m scared), we’ll be running the Pies Prem Prediction League. Wouhou!
This is how it works:
Mark ‘Lawro’ Lawrenson makes his predictions for BBC Sport, we make our predictions, and finally YOU make your predictions.
There will be prizes every month for the top tipsters, and bigger prizes at the end of the season (whatever we can blag, ahem). Don’t worry if you miss out one week, as you can join and re-join the league whenever you want – it just means you stand less chance of topping the league come the end of the season.
Away we go (you need to add your predictions by midday on Saturday 14 August). As before, it’s three points for a correct scoreline, one point for a correct result.
Lawro says:
Tottenham 2-1 Man City
Aston Villa 2-0 West Ham
Blackburn 1-1 Everton
Bolton 2-1 Fulham
Sunderland 1-0 Birmingham
Wigan 2-1 Blackpool
Wolverhampton 1-1 Stoke
Chelsea 3-0 West Brom
Liverpool 1-1 Arsenal
Man Utd 2-0 Newcastle
Pies says:
Tottenham 0-0 Man City
Aston Villa 1-1 West Ham
Blackburn 0-1 Everton
Bolton 2-0 Fulham
Sunderland 3-1 Birmingham
Wigan 2-0 Blackpool
Wolverhampton 0-1 Stoke
Chelsea 2-0 West Brom
Liverpool 1-1 Arsenal
Man Utd 2-0 Newcastle
PS. When you leave your predictions, make sure you leave the name you want us to use for you in the league table.
