74015016.jpgI can hardly bring myself to type up the news of yet another round of Jose Mourinho vs Alex Ferguson, but this one is too good not to post. Fergie has rounded on Jose after the Chelsea boss took another pop at Cristiano Ronaldo. Mourinho/Arrogantio accused Ronaldo of being uneducated because he came from working-class family in Madeira, Portugal.
Fergie, as proud of his working-class Scottish roots as he is of any of his achievements at Old Trafford, naturally hit back with a stinging one-two jab combo: ‘It is really below the belt to bring class into it… Just because you come from a poor, working-class background does not mean to say you are not educated.
‘What Ronaldo has are principles, that is why he has not responded to it. Other people are educated but have no principles.’
So Ronaldo has principles eh? That’s news to us. Anyway, Fergie wins that round hands-down. Mourinho’s outbursts are getting more and more desperate. [Via F365]
