Saturday

Everton v Liverpool (12.45pm) I’m on the fence for the Merseyside derby. Everton have started well, but Liverpool can match them at Goodison. 1:1
Arsenal v Middlesbrough
(3pm) In which Thierry Henry picks up his first league goals of the season. 4:1
Bolton v Watford
(3pm) I have to go for a confortable home win here. 2:0
Chelsea v Charlton
(3pm) A home banker for the champions. 3:0
Newcastle v Fulham
(3pm) Who’s going to get the goals for the Magpies? I fancy Fulham to upset the odds and nick a point. 1:1
Portsmouth v Wigan
(3pm) No gut feeling on this one so I’ll stay on the fence. 1:1
Sheffield Utd v Blackburn
(3pm) This will be physical and can’t see too many goals. 0:1
Man Utd v Tottenham (5.15pm) Spurs will get their act together and steal a point at Old Trafford. 1:1
Sunday
West Ham v Aston Villa
(4pm) Will Tevez & Mascherano both start? Either way, euphoria levels inside Upton Park should help the Hammers gain three points. 3-1
Monday
Reading v Man City
(8pm) Not a fixture that I’d give up my Monday night to watch. A ho-hum draw. 1:1
