"I’m delighted to be back at Starks Park but I’m not here because of what Gordon Brown said – I’m here because of what God said," he said. It is thought the deal hinged on Raith’s proximity to the Zion Praise Centre, where the religious Andrews worships, and the formation of the Marvin Andrews Youth Development Trust.
Andrews, aged 30, had been without a club since being released by Rangers in August and is rumoured to have turned down a move to Reading.
