Poor old AC Milan suffered a dismal start to 2015 after already enduring a poor 2014. At home to Serie A small fry Sassuolo, the Rossoneri went down 2-1 with Simone Zaza’s superb winning volley in the second-half.
The hosts had taken the lead courtesy of midfielder Andrea Poli but a goal from Gianluca Sansone levelled things up before the break. And then, from a Domenico Berardi corner, 23-year-old striker Zaza produced a glorious, humdinger of a volley to give the Neroverdi all three points.
