Seems like the Premuier League’s new signings are all going great guns in pre-season, with Memphis Depay scoring his first goal in Manchester United colours during Tuesday night’s 3-1 win over San Jose Earthquakes.
With Sir Alex Ferguson watching from the stands, Juan Mata got the ball rolling for United after 32 minutes before Depay pounced on a duff back-pass to double their lead five minutes later…
Incredible acceleration.
The Earthquakes, fresh from a 5-2 drubbing at the hands of Steven Gerrard’s LA Galaxy, then managed to pull one back through Fatai Alashe just before half-time but hotly-tipped United youngster Andreas Pereira headed one home to secure a convincing win for Louis van Gaal’s lot on the hour mark.
