All the fun of the non-leagues was laid bare at Bognor Regis Town FC down in the FA Trophy last night, with the club turning to desperate measures in a bid to thaw their frozen pitch ahead of a game against Altrincham FC.
With a strip of turf freezing solid down the near touchline, the Bognor players and staff came up with an ingenious ploy to combat the icy conditions…
