Coveted by Real Madrid and just about every other major club in Europe, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang was at his sublime best once again in Dortmund’s Champions League clash with Sporting, netting a gorgeous goal for the Germans.
The 27-year-old striker raced on to a pass from Mario Gotze before rocketing past the Sporting defender and finally, neatly lifting the ball over goalkeeper Rui Patricio. A stunning mix of power, pace and finesse…

Aubameyang’s goal came after kist nine minutes in Lisbon and ultimately helped Thomas Tuchel’s side to a 2-1 win, a win which sees them top Group F, ahead of Real Madrid courtesy of their superior goal difference.
Not bad for a player who failed to make the grade at Milan!
