It has been an exciting start to the football season in Europe, with some exciting title battles shaping up in several of the top leagues.

International football has brought an unwelcome halt to proceedings during the first half of October, but the rest of the month is packed with some bumper match-ups.

October 24 is undoubtedly the standout day, with three of the biggest leagues staging what promise to be some truly unmissable matches.

Roma vs Napoli – Serie A

Most bookmakers, including the best betting sites in Vietnam, rate Napoli as second-favourites behind Inter Milan to claim the Serie A title this season.

However, one of the best football betting tricks has been backing Gli Azzurri to win their games with Asian sports betting giants Vwin during the current campaign.

Napoli have rattled off seven successive wins this term and will fancy their chances of maintaining their relentless pace over the coming weeks.

Their trip to Roma is the toughest test they face during October and may well be the first time they fail to pick up three points.

Prediction: Roma 2-2 Napoli.

Barcelona vs Real Madrid – La Liga

Barca’s well-documented financial troubles coupled with Lionel Messi’s departure has left their team looking a shadow of its former self.

Ronald Koeman’s side have struggled for form during the early part of the campaign, although they are guaranteed to raise their game against their biggest rivals.

Madrid appeared to be going along quite nicely under Carlo Ancelotti, but successive defeats in the Champions League and La Liga have derailed their progress.

Despite doing the double over Barca last season, we have a sneaky feeling that the home team will nick a point from their latest meeting.

Prediction: Barcelona 1-1 Real Madrid.

Manchester United vs Liverpool – Premier League

Just one point separates these two Premier League heavyweights after seven games and there could be fireworks in their upcoming clash.

Manchester United have gone off the boil after a promising start to the campaign but will be eager to showcase the title credentials against the Reds.

Jurgen Klopp’s side were fortunate to escape with a draw from the recent trip to Brentford and should have been demolished by Manchester City last weekend.

With Liverpool’s defence looking increasingly vulnerable, the stage could be set for a Cristiano Ronaldo masterclass at Old Trafford.

Prediction: Manchester United 3-1 Liverpool.

Inter Milan vs Juventus – Serie A

After ending Juve’s dominance of Serie A last season, Inter appear to be well on course to mount a sustained defence of the title this time around.

Inter have picked up 17 points from their opening seven matches, scoring a league-high 22 goals in the process.

Simone Inzaghi has seamlessly replaced Antonio Conte as manager, while striker Romelu Lukaku has not been missed following his exit to Chelsea.

Juventus have improved after a disappointing start to the season and will be desperate to take something from this game to stay in touch with the leading clubs.

Prediction: Inter Milan 1-1 Juventus.
