What a dick. It wouldn’t be so bad had he said it to Cashley, The Incredible Sulk Anelka, etc. but Ivanovic doesn’t seem like a bad fellow at all. He’s a quiet guy, goes about his business, never complains to the ref. And I’m not the biggest Chelsea fan by any stretch of the imagination.
He can toss all he wants, they’ll be back in Championship next season…

@papi if I was subjected to the racism that “Cashley” has endured his entire career I would find it hard to be cheerful. Anelka is just a quiet guy who at times seems unenthusiastic, no one deserves to be verbally abused.

Haha I saw this live. I agree with the above poster that Ivanovic is a likeable player but in the circumstances, with the guy throwing the ball away first there was something funny about it.

Technically when you make a throw-in you are a tosser. The fan was just making an astute observation.
