Adidas Reveal New Spain Home Kit (With Gross Video)

By Ollie Irish

David Villa in agony, tearing at his own flesh to uncover the new Spain home kit. Mmm, sell it to me, Mr Adidas.

So, the new kit… it looks like a classic Spain kit, which is good. Apart from that, there’s not a lot to say about it. The current Spain team could wear used binbags and still play beautiful football.

PS. As much of a dude as Villa is, no man with a soulpatch can ever look 100% cool. Fact.

    but kit is terrible

  3. Too much blue in my opinion, but it’s not a step backwards.

  4. yankmanc says:

adidas shit keeps getting uglier and uglier… btw those are some blue eyes.

  5. david says:

The video is gross!!!!! Is that seling!?!?!?

  6. Jon says:

I still prefer the Euro 2008 one.
On another note, I’m not gay, but I’d tap that.

  7. Rich says:

is it me or does it seem that adidas had no idea what to sell the shirt on (which is way worse than world cup 1 for me) so at first they pretended that spain had gloriously failed at the world cup

  8. gamblino says:

    That is rank

  9. ffds says:

da 2010 world cup one is nicer

  10. Miguel - NYC says:

    i agree…pretty gross video.

  11. Montesquieu says:

It’s not great but not bad. The shorts are damn too long.

  12. Issay Miyaki says:

Horrible kit, also if I were a Spaniard I would want us to keep our World Cup wining kit for a little while. The blue just looks wrong, as does the v neck, it looks more like a handball kit (I don’t even know what that means but it does).

  13. Jimbo says:

    looks shit

  14. Markell says:

Xabi Alonso fought De Jong… De Jong won.

The old kit really is better.

  15. Bruno says:

Not good but not bad also.

  16. I will be reliving this dream in my nightmares over and over again.

  17. lyricm9 says:

    cool

  18. S-League Player says:

    What’s with the blue accents?

Probably a nod to Barcelona providing more than half the Spanish national team these days. Still, doesn’t rock my world. Preferred the Euro 2008 kit.

  19. allie says:

I like the color blue but there’s just too much blue in the La Roja shirt. I like the darker red kits. Not bad, but not good enough for world champions, I think.

  20. Hirsty says:

That’s like 3 kits in a year and a half. This is just getting ridiculous now….

  21. lynz says:

    definitely too much blue..
the video was fantastically epic and a teeny bit gross. also, the only person that can look 100% cool with a soul patch is xabi alonso. can we make this happen?

  22. deckard says:

that’s their 4th new home jersey in 2 years. it’s fucking disgusting how adidas are milking the spanish gravy train. i remember back in the day west germany wore their legendary world cup 1990 jersey from euro 88 all to the way throughout italia 90.

  23. Cara says:

the shirts they wore in the Confed cup were the best… I prefer the dark blue. Villa looks great though 101% cool ;)

  24. David says:

Can’t wait to see if sales went up or down as a result of the video

  25. simone says:

All i cared about was when they took of their shirts. It’ a lot sexier than thee hulk though

  26. DavidVilla7_Lover says:

i better like them wihtout the shirt.. Mmmmmm..! sooo sexi! <3
    looove them all!! VIVA ESPAÑA..!
i like the shirt but i have to say it's a little boring like the world cup one and it looks totally like the one in the world cup just with a little blue!! but they looks great in everything soooo it really does'nt matter it isn't the shirt who make them great but their beautifull way to play..! im proud to be spanish!! <3
