Man Utd To Battle Man City Over Nigerian Starlet

Manchester United are set to face stiff competition from bitter rivals Manchester City in the race for Nigeria U17′s prodigy Ramon Azeez.

The talented youngster was invited for trials at City following his eye-catching performances at the U17 World Cup (in which he was bestowed with the slightly patronising ‘Bronze Ball’ – the award for the third best player) but after a few days moved on for a trial spell at United’s Carrington training complex as, unbeknownst to the Man City scouts, United had also sent representatives to the tournament to monitor the Nigerian starlet.

Azeez plays as a defensive midfielder and many fans are protesting that the player they’ve dubbed the ‘new Obi Mikel’ should be included in the Nigerian squad for the World Cup in June.

    1. If he’s the new Obi Mikel, then does that mean he’s terrible?
