It’s a shame this wasn’t a survey on what users think of the site.
While I understand that you need to make money, the increase in adverts is becoming seriously intrusive, and is denting the enjoyment and usability of your site.
I used to visit Pies with a cup of tea when I had a few free minutes, but I find myself visiting less and less due to the increase in pop-ups and other intrusive adverts that I have to circumnavigate.
Please tone back on the intrusiveness of your adverts before you start losing your user base!
I’m sorry you feel that way Pete – I’d like to think you don’t have to wade through as much advertising as you do with some more established sports sites (especially American ones), but your comment has been noted, I assure you. I’m not crazy about pop-ups either, but I have a large family to feed this Xmas!
