Ghana FA President Unveils Plan To Have More ‘Sexy Ladies’ Attend League Matches To Boost Dwindling Attendances

Ghana Football Association president Kwesi Nyantakyi has vowed to increase the flagging attendances at domestic league games by any means possible.

The main problem appears to be that Ghanaian football fans much prefer to watch foreign league matches on television rather than head down to their local stadium come Saturday/Sunday afternoon, though the Parliament of Ghana recently rejected a proposal to prevent the screening of live Premier League broadcasts on free-to-air television.

So, with crowd numbers dwindling at Ghana League games and clubs struggling financially as a direct result, Nyantakyi is ready to explore every avenue in a bid to get fans coming back through the turnstiles again – namely by using “sexy ladies” as chum in the water.

As reported by Ghana Web, Nyantakyi (a 48-year-old lawyer by trade) told Montie FM:

Me, I have said this thing over and over again…we must let sexy ladies ladies enter our stadia and the men will readily follow them into the stadium to watch games.

Most of these men when they hear that beautiful girls are coming to the stadium today, they’ll all jump and follow them to the stadium…and they are going there purposely to see the ladies.

Not that he hasn’t done his research, mind you.

I remember there was one match the we brought some beautiful girls who were in nice jeans to the stadium and the girls started walking around the stadium and you should see the hysteria it created in the stands.

The men in the stands went into frenzy and when the ladies waved at them, come and see how jubilant [the men] were.

And so we must try and use all these tricks to boost attendance at the stadium.

Ah, a man after Sepp Blatter’s own heart. One word to the right people at FIFA and this ‘initiative’ will be country-wide in weeks.

God bless progress.
