Circa 1995, here’s evidence that the FA proving were always willing to tackle the big issues eating away at football’s moral fibre with the gusto we’ve come to expect – writing to every single manager in the football league to request them to prevent players from removing their shirts to celebrate goals on the grounds that it’s “unprofessional, undignified and silly”.
Honestly, we couldn’t agree more!
