Having already stuck away a penalty (his third goal in two games for Milan) and the score locked at 1-1, Mario Balotelli came within the width of a mosquito’s wanger from wrapping up all three points against Cagliari at the weekend with a superb scissor kick in the 92nd minute of the game.

Alas, it wasn’t to be, with the referee ruling that the ball had crossed the by-line before diddly ‘ickle Robinho managed to turn it back towards Balotelli with his pea-sized head…

Bloody Robinho!
