Italy Soccer Serie A

Juventus paddled Napoli’s little pink backsides in Serie A last night, beating them 3-0 and hopping up to second in the table behind front-runners Roma.

Fernando Llorente quite literally got the ball rolling in the second minute before Andrea Pirlo made it two in the latter stages of the second half with a trademark dreamy, silky, bearded-sex-on-legs Pirlo™ free-kick which he nonchalantly popped over the wall and underneath Pepe Reina’s crossbar…

Still, it’s not like Paul Pogba was going to let his veteran midfield partner hog all the limelight, with the wickedly-talented young Frenchman fleshing out Juve’s victory with a handsome trademark strike of his own with ten minutes left to play…

Dayyyum.

Forget Messi and Ronaldo and Ibrahimovic with their skill and pace and power; Pirlo’s nonchalance is undoubtedly the greatest individual trait of any modern footballer.

And I want to point out that this was Pogba’s SECOND tremendous volley against Napoli from that EXACT same spot on the pitch, but his first was with his other foot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Osjfn1dEVGY

Benitez is noob. I can manage better

@Sloth: I’m with on that one. As a Milanista, Pirlo was one of the worst giveaways ever and that’s thanks to the current, horrible coach we still have. Pirlo has won everything in the world for a reason.

why was pogba given that much space anyways? his windup for that volley seemed like minutes, easily enough time for a defender to close down on him.
