Joleon Lescott Joins West Brom On Two-Year Deal After Man City Contract Dwindles To Nowt (Photo)

If you’ll allow us to being you a sliver of slightly underwhelming domestic news amid the World Cup hubbub, it’s been announced this morning that West Brom have secured the Bosman signing of defender Joleon Lescott, who reunites with Alan Irvine (his former coach at Everton) after five middling years at Man City.

The Baggies’ also confirmed that Lescott, 31, has penned a two-year deal plus a further performance-related one-year option.
